You can make a difference by donating to our cause at HOPEFUL ACRES in the greater San Antonio, Texas area. With your help, our 501 C-3 non-profit organization will be able to raise funds to offset costs associated with our mission of providing healing, hope, and support to "Special needs children/adults" and "Veterans including their families" and "Youth-At-Risk"

Below is a link to a wish list we have to help clients in lessons, through obstacle courses, trail rides, connection between others, and so much more. We appreciate any and all donations!

Wish List

Sponsor a Veteran, Special Needs or Youth At-Risk

• Cover the cost to send one of our categories of clients listed above thru our life-changing 8-week Equine-Assisted Services Program (call for pricing)

Sponsor a Ranch Field Trip

• Cover the cost of a ranch field trip for 10 clients from a variety of agencies, such as: special education departments in schools, exception family member programs on military installations, youth at-risk programs, etc. (call for pricing)

Sponsor and/or Purchase a Horse

• $100 pays for farrier care for one horse (needed every 6 weeks)
• $100 pays for veterinarian care for one horse (monthly average)
• Due to expansion, we are in immediate need of two quality therapeutic horses to join our herd (call for pricing)

​Support a Cause or Need

• Help us build an American with Disabilities Act (ADA)- compliant bathroom in our event center for our special-needs and wheelchair bound clients ($5,000, but any donation welcome)
• Purchase much-needed stall mats ($50 per mat)—immediate need is 10 mats
• Purchase a round bale of hay ($125)—immediate need is 2 bales
• Help us build a fenced-in riding arena to enhance our therapeutic riding sessions ($5,000, but any donation welcome)
• Help us build a fishing dock ($3,500, but any donation welcome)—allow our amazing clients (many who are special needs, veterans, and/or youth-at-risk) to feed and/or fish in conjunction with sessions​

Donation Uses

• Additional well-trained horses for recreational equine therapy program
• Platform (ramp/steps) to aid children/adults get on & off horse

• Riding Gear (Helmets, specialized equipment for special need’s riders, tack, etc.)
• Additional petting zoo animals (mini-horse, mini-donkey, etc.)
• Petting zoo improvements (benches, fence expansion, play-obstacles for animals, etc.)
• Arena improvements (lighting, challenge course to aid client’s learning, etc.)
• Grounds improvement (land clearing, fencing, road materials, etc.)
